Telekom Center Athens Customers Reviews
Jeff Dunham, Stockton,CA 12/2/21
The show, postponed 3 times due to Covid, was definitely worth the wait. Bryan Adams provided a fun performance, more geared towards adults with a few F-bombs dropped.
Overall, the show was very funny with a mix of older and new characters like URL (Earl), which needs some fine-tuning over time. I'd definitely go see him again.
On the flip side, Stockton Arena has some areas that need improvement, particularly for those with mobility issues:
1. Lack of handicapped parking spaces in the parking structure, with only a handful on the first level and none above, despite elevators on each level.
2. Doors opening an hour before the show led to long entry lines, causing the show to start over an hour late at 8:10 instead of 7:00.
3. No designated access for ADA individuals, leading to those with mobility aids having to wait in long lines. My partner, who has Multiple Sclerosis, struggled until a kind couple let us cut in front of them.
4. The security screening process was meticulous but slow, with only four metal detectors and insufficient staff checking IDs and Covid documentation.
5. Most staff were helpful, but one concession worker near Section 127 was rude and unhelpful, displaying a poor attitude towards customers.
While the evening was pleasant overall, the arena issues should be considered before attending another event at Stockton Arena. However, I would not hesitate to see Bryan Adams again.
